Looking to offer customer discounts? Promo codes allow you to provide promotions at checkout through custom codes or via a discounted QR code/link. Promo codes can be used across all Order With Flavor ordering channels and can be created either in Square Marketing or directly within Order With Flavor.

Please note: we do not currently support multi-merchant promo syncing.

Important Notes

• Promo code redemption limits apply in total, not per customer.
• Promo codes apply to all active locations and are not location-specific.
• You may edit the expiration date of an existing, active promo code. Users cannot edit the expiration date of a redeemed, or expired promo code. All expiration date edits on active promo codes will sync to Square.

Promo codes can be applied at the category level, item level, or to your entire menu. They are supported on web ordering, kiosks, and mobile apps.

Category & Item Level Promo Codes

To create a category- or item-specific promo code:

• When creating a new Pricing Rule, enable “Item and Category Promo Codes.”

  This allows you to:

  • Set the required minimum number of items in the cart for the promo code to apply (must be 1 or higher).
  • Choose which specific categories and/or items the promo should apply to.

• A “Remove Promo Code” button has been added under the promo code field to fully clear an applied code from the checkout total.

Reminder: To create a promo code that applies at the category and/or item level, you must create a new Pricing Rule.
